New Year Sale FAQs

Our annual promotion offers tickets to top London shows for select performances. Our 2026 New Year Sale is over for another year. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear of future campaigns.

General booking opens at 10am on Tuesday 25 November with priority booking for Mastercard cardholders from Tuesday 18 November via priceless.com.
Tickets must be booked by 31 January 2026.

Tickets cost £10, £20, £30, £40, £50 or £60, depending on the show, and there are no booking fees to pay. Not every show offers tickets at every price point, or for every performance.

The participating shows are listed here.

The promotion encompasses select performances in 2026 subject to availability. There are a limited number of tickets and tickets may not be on sale for all performances.

Tickets can only be booked online via OfficialLondonTheatre.com/sale/, or at the Official London Theatre Ticket Booth in Leicester Square. If you’re booking during the Mastercard Priority window, tickets must be booked through priceless.com. New Year Sale tickets cannot be booked at theatre box offices unless you are booking access tickets.

If you, or someone you know, has access needs, you can complete our Access Priority Request Form outlining your access requirements.

For Mastercard cardholders, the form will go live on Friday 14 November at midday until Sunday 16 November at 6pm. For general booking the form with be live from Friday 21 November at midday to 6pm on Sunday 23 November. You will then be contacted directly by the theatre’s Box Office on Tuesday 18 November (Mastercard cardholders) and Tuesday 25 November (General sale) to book your tickets.

You can sign up for theatre access information and to receive the request form here.

Throughout the promotion, if you have access needs the most direct way of booking tickets is directly with the theatre as they know the venue best and can give you the best experience. The list of phone numbers and email addresses can all be found here once the promotion is live.

Yes, you can pay with Theatre Tokens from the general on sale on Tuesday 25 November. Just follow the instructions on the payment page to redeem your tokens.

Your ticket will come as an e-ticket and will be emailed to you before the show. As long as you have received a confirmation email from your booking, don’t panic! Tickets may be emailed at different times and may not arrive until the day before your show. Make sure you’ve checked your spam folder if you’re having trouble locating your tickets. If you have not received your tickets the day before the performance, please visit our Customer Service page.

It depends on the show. Some theatres and shows have strict age policies and don’t admit young children. We always recommend looking at our Age & Content Guide on the individual show’s listings page. Babes in arms are not allowed in almost all theatres.

If you would like to exchange your tickets, please complete this change to booking request form. Please note that exchange policies vary theatre to theatre, and we can only offer you an exchange if the theatre grants one.

Tickets will only be refunded if your performance has been cancelled.

  • Customers can book for multiple shows but we reserve the right to investigate any suspicious bookings. Bookings can contain no more than 10 tickets per performance.
  • The offer does not apply to tickets already booked and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • Tickets are subject to availability for specific performances only and not all shows offer tickets at all price points.
  • The list of participating shows will change throughout the promotion as some shows sell out and new shows join.
  • Some shows do sell out quickly, so we recommend having a few shows in mind before you book, and to be flexible with your dates where possible.
