The Book Of Mormon is a nine-time Tony-winning, multi-Olivier awarded and Grammy-getting musical. Playing at London’s Prince of Wales Theatre, it continues to have West End audiences knocking on its door. Have you joined the mission?

Written by the animated sitcom’s creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, along with Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez, The Book Of Mormon is a satirical musical that takes shots at everything from organised religion to consumerism, the state of the economy and the musical theatre genre itself.

The show tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries who travel to Africa to preach the Mormon religion, only to discover they have a lot more to learn about the real world than they have to teach about Mormonism.

When the pair of opposites land in a poverty-stricken, crime-riddled and disease-filled village in Uganda, the enigmatic over-achiever and prideful Mormon Elder Price learns that charms and good looks don’t get you far. As for his awkward and enthusiastic partner Elder Cunningham; well, he’s just happy to have a friend and be included in something. Thousands of miles from Salt Lake City and facing the biggest of reality checks, Elder Price’s faith is shaken. He must convince himself of the scriptures he’s preaching before he can convert any of the locals who are more concerned with war, famine, and AIDS than Mormonism. However, armed with his own interpretation of the Book and an innocent disposition, Elder Cunningham thrives… sort of.

Disney's The Lion King is the much-loved musical stage adaptation of the hugely successful animated film. Disney’s award-winning musical is now in its 26th triumphant year at London’s  Lyceum Theatre, having entertained over 20 million theatregoers and become the West End’s sixth longest-running musical of all time. Set against the majesty of the Serengeti, the awe-inspiring musical is directed by Julie Taymor, who also designed the Olivier Award-winning costumes that transform the stage and auditorium of the Lyceum Theatre into the African plains. Occupied by lions, giraffes, birds, zebras, hyenas and even a stampede of wildebeest, the show is perhaps most famous for its Circle Of Life opening number, which provides one of the most spectacular sights and atmospheres in the West End. When the young lion prince Simba is born, his evil uncle Scar is pushed back to second in line to the throne. Unimpressed with his future prospects, Scar plots to kill both Simba and his father, Mufasa, becoming king in the process. Young Simba survives the heinous plot but is led to believe that his father died because of him. Devastated, he flees the kingdom and soon finds a carefree life. But without a real king, the pride soon falls on hard times and a hero is needed to bring back prosperity. Released in 1994, The Lion King quickly became one of Disney’s most popular modern movies. At the 1995 Oscars it won the awards for Best Music: Original Score for Hans Zimmer’s score and Best Music: Original Song for Elton John and Tim Rice’s Can You Feel The Love Tonight. Two of the film’s other songs – Circle Of Life and Hakuna Matata – were also nominated. Both score and songs feature in the stage musical adaptation, along with some new material. The musical adaptation debuted at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, going on to win six Tony Awards when it opened on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre in 1997. The show transferred to the Lyceum Theatre in October 1999, where it was nominated for eight Olivier Awards, and it participated at the Royal Variety Performance in 1999 and 2008 in the presence of the Royal Family. A spectacular stage production in which astounding spectacle, uplifting heart and beloved music and lyrics combine, Disney's The Lion King is not to be missed. Looking for more about the show? The countdown is on.

From Oscar Award-winning screenwriter Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Dune) and Olivier Award-winning Director Thea Sharrock (Equus – West End/Broadway, After The Dance) comes the world premiere of the play, High Noon.

This gripping new adaptation is Roth’s debut work for the stage – based on the iconic, four-time Oscar-winning 1952 film originally produced by Stanley Kramer, directed by Fred Zinnemann, with screenplay by Carl Foreman – hailed as one of the greatest westerns ever made. This isn’t just a play. It’s a wake-up call.

Told in real time, this edge-of-your-seat thriller stars Tony and Emmy Award-winner Billy Crudup (The Morning Show, The Coast Of Utopia) and Olivier Award– winner Denise Gough (Andor, People, Places & Things) with design by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Tim Hatley (Back To The Future: The Musical, The Life Of Pi), lighting by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Neil Austin (Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, Born With Teeth) and music composed and produced by Chris Egan.

Once a searing allegory of Hollywood’s blacklist, High Noon now explodes onto the stage in an unmissable new version that speaks urgently to the world today.

Set in the American West of the 1800s, High Noon rides on themes as relevant now as they were then. Courage vs. Cowardice. Justice vs. Peace. Duty vs. Desire. And at its heart, is the bond between Will Kane and Amy Fowler – a love tested by impossible choices as the clock ticks down to the return of deadly outlaw Frank Miller on the high noon train.

Tick: Begin a new life together?

Tock: Or take a stand for the greater good?

As time runs out, one truth remains: if you don’t stand up for what’s worth saving, you risk losing it all.

Playing for a strictly limited run, don’t miss this incredible theatrical event – secure your tickets now before it’s too late. Every second counts.

Cameron Mackintosh’s legendary production of Boublil and Schonberg’s Les Misérables is now the world’s longest running musical, a global stage sensation at the heart of the West End.

Les Misérables is a musical adaptation of Victor Hugo’s great humanitarian novel of one man’s determined survival in the face of another’s vengeful persecution.

Set amid the social and political struggles of 19th century France, West End favourite Les Misérables tells the story of former prisoner Jean Valjean, who is pursued for decades by his policeman nemesis, Javert. Their epic cat-and-mouse journey will take them from the French fields to the gritty Parisian sewers, amidst an enthralling story of broken dreams, unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.

The international award-winning musical sweeps its audience through an epic tale of passion and destruction, against the backdrop of a nation in the grip of revolution. Having started life as a French-language concept album in 1983, producer Cameron Mackintosh worked in conjunction with the Royal Shakespeare Company to adapt the French musical for a British audience, with the resulting show opening at the Barbican Centre in October 1985. A West End transfer soon followed, along with a Broadway production, and the rest is record-setting history.

The dramatic score of Les Misérables includes numbers such as On My Own, One Day More and Do You Hear The People Sing? Its best known song, perhaps, is I Dreamed A Dream, made famous through numerous cover versions by artists ranging from Katherine Jenkins to Susan Boyle.

Now, seen by more than 120 million people worldwide in 52 countries and in 22 languages, this spectacular musical adaptation of Victor Hugo’s masterpiece continues to thrill audiences night after night in London’s West End.

Join the people’s crusade – book Les Misérables tickets for the West End today.
