West End LIVE 2026 line-up announced!

By Tony BeckinghamPublished 28 May 2026

With just three weeks to go, we are excited to announce the line-up of performers for this year’s West End LIVE!

Presented by Official London Theatre and Westminster City Council, West End LIVE is Europe’s largest free musical theatre festival, with over 50 performances from top West End shows taking place for free in Trafalgar Square on 20 and 21 June.

Put the dates in your diary now and while you’re planning, why not make a stagey weekend of it by booking a show to see after you’ve enjoyed some free theatre.

Disney will be opening both days, with Disney’s Hercules getting the weekend started on Saturday at 11am and Disney’s The Lion King continuing the party on Sunday from 12pm.

The weekend will be your chance to see previews of new shows like High School Musical, ahead of its opening in October. Speaking of new shows, this year will be your only chance to see Beetlejuice at West End LIVE, with the show set for a limited engagement until April 2027.

Beetlejuice won’t be the only risqué show at this year’s event, with everyone’s favourite naughty puppets Avenue Q making their first appearance at Trafalgar Square in seven years.

Along with these new shows, we’ll be excited to welcome West End Live mainstays such as Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Wicked, Magic Mike Live and Six!

Plus Phantom Of The Opera will be performing as they get ready to celebrate their 40th anniversary later this year. After their ceremony-opening performance at the Olivier Awards with Cunard back in April, we can’t wait to see what they have in store for Trafalgar Square.

Speaking of Olivier Awards, this year’s big winner, the cast of Paddington The Musical will be making their first Trafalgar Square appearance. They’ll be joined by winners from previous years, including Operation Mincemeat, Titaníque and My Neighbour Totoro.

For the first time ever, Official London Theatre is offering 100 fast-track entries to the winners of our amazing West End LIVE prize draw.

Along with accessing Trafalgar Square through a priority entrance, one lucky winner will get the chance to go backstage and see the magic of West End LIVE from behind the curtain, receive a £50 merchandise voucher and £200 in Theatre Tokens that can be used for any show on OfficialLondonTheatre.com or at the Ticket Booth in Leicester Square.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply enter your details by 7 June.
